ParticipantOnce the site is published when I load the site with “www” i.e http://www.mindsbeyond.in then the hero-layout looks correct as shown below:-
<div class=”hero-section dark hero-layout-1″ style=”background-image: url(http://www.mindsbeyond.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/thinkdifferent-3-1200×675.jpg)”>but if i dont use “www” and instead use “mindsbeyond.in” then the class used a default image.
<div class=”hero-section dark hero-layout-1″ style=”background-image: url(http://mindsbeyond.in/wp-includes/images/media/default.png)”>Can you help me understand why there is a difference ? how can I fix it. appreciate your help on this . thank you

ParticipantHi @sivanandha,
Will you please ask the same issue with your hosting provider or domain registrar. None of our users faced such issue. I will forward this query to our expert team to figure out the problem. Once they inform, I will let you know. Most of the case this kind of issue occurs due to hosting.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for responding. This is the code from the template. The underlying code has nothing to do with the domain registration. This looks like a strange issue to me as well. I did a source-code comparison with and without “www” and its way too different. You can try it on my domain mindsbeyond.in
Am running wordpress in my google cloud vm and using google domain. i manage handful of few other sites in the same way and no issues. it kind of suggests me that there might be an issue in the template. however i will check from my end.

ParticipantHi @sivanandha,
Will you please upload the same image by http://mindsbeyond.in/wp-login.php in customizer and check it once.
Thanks!

ParticipantI tried that. now the image is not showing up in the “www” URL. I now believe that the issue is more related to the template itself. could you please help?

ParticipantHi @sivanandha,
Sure, well in customizer field hero background image saved the whole image link so we changed to save only image id. Moreover on your site, in both log in either http://www.mindsbeyond.in/wp-admin or mindsbeyond.in/wp-admin getting different media link for same image. for example
/www.mindsbeyond.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/xthinkdifferent-3-1200x675.jpg.pagespeed.ic.NFTw7JSo_8.webp
andmindsbeyond.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/xthinkdifferent-3-1200x675.jpg.pagespeed.ic.NFTw7JSo_8.webp
. As a result customizer resent save value is not matching with last save a link and once not find the current path of the image link. wp auto gives the default image link. Thanks!
