Could you please add the below CSS Code into Additional CSS Box through customizer and Let us know either this helps you or not?

    display: none;
}

Regarding theme update, it will take around 2 or 3 Weeks due to make all CSS values as default so that we can avoid the conflict during theme update for the old user.
